My Green Certifications
Founded in 2002, EcoBroke®r is the first and largest green real estate training and communications program in the world. Teaches REALTORS how to assist clients in their pursuit of properties that provide affordability, comfort and a healthier environment (reducing carbon footprints). I have been an EcoBroker® since 2008.
To be a green business, a business must bring it's operations into compliance with all environmental regulations. Then go beyond compliance to meet the general practices and targeted resource conservation and pollution prevention measures. I have been a Certified Alameda County Green Business since 2008.
The California Building Performance Contractors Association (CBPCA) was a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the energy demands in California and developing industry leaders in the burgeoning field of building energy efficiency. Although I did not intend to do work as a HERS Rater, I took the training to learn about: duct leakage testing equipment, blower doors, and air flow and pressure measurement devices; interpretation of prioritized recommendations for efficiency improvements and customized adjustment procedures for specific occupants; behavioral, psychological, cultural, and socioeconomic influences on energy consumption of home occupants in the United States and California. Training completed 2010.
helps to establish California as a role model to other states and the nation for developing pragmatic solutions to environmental challenges. They strive to design their programs to have wide-reaching policy impacts that can positively impact many Californians. I have achieved the following certifications from Build It Green:
